Going Social: The First Post Saga

Big news — PlayerFinder has officially joined the social world. Yep, we’re finally out there on the feeds, trying not to look awkward.

You’d think posting a simple “we’re live” image would be quick. Spoiler: it wasn’t. We spent way too long debating the exact spot where the gradient should shift color. Someone zoomed in 800% to adjust a shadow that nobody will ever notice. Another person questioned which of the two overlapping browser screenshots should sit on top — and more importantly, which word would end up being half hidden underneath it.
At one point, the conversation somehow turned into a full-on philosophy debate about whether blue feels “too corporate” or “confidently gamer.” We even ran a test post, deleted it, and started over — because the corner radius on one frame was 2px off. Two. Pixels.
But after all that, the final result looked awesome. Clean layout, smooth colors, and just the right amount of shine. It wasn’t just another promo graphic — it felt like PlayerFinder. The kind of post that makes you stop scrolling for half a second and think, “Okay, these people actually care.”
It might’ve taken three people an hour to agree on a gradient, but honestly? Worth it. Every pixel counts when it’s your first impression.
